Square Peg Studio is a passion driven Hair, Makeup and Prosthetic Design Company. We believe in what we do and strive for the very best when bringing characters to life through the power of story telling, innovation and creativity. We are dedicated to the ongoing training of our staff and encourage free thinking and have built our workshop around the ideals of a creative hub environment.
Company Director, Danny Marie Elias, has dedicated her career to the craft, and believes in creating a nurturing environment with creativity and innovation at its core. As well as working on some of the most notable productions in recent years such as Star Wars, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Victor Frankenstein and Artemis Fowl to name a few. Danny has always dedicated time in the encouragement of further education and continued education within her fields. Danny is a member of many education boards and often consults on curriculum improvements for future students as well as traveling around the world, delivering guest lectures to industry professionals. This is something Danny believes will create growth, balance and opportunity within the industry, and fully commits to this within her own team.
We specialise in Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Film and Television, delivering everything from Period Hair Designs to full Creature FX. We also offer these services in isolation and work with other designers to bring their vision to the screen. We have a large array of services that can be viewed here. We also create bespoke packages and will consider projects of all sizes and requirements.
Being environmentally conscious has always been a main focus for us. We use and recycle where possible and take great care with any disposable items, reducing our carbon footprint wherever and whenever we can. We are constantly revisiting this and improving day by day.
Covid 19 has seen a drastic impact on the way we work and how we operate, and we aim to work with productions to conduct our work in the safest possible way.
